Obituary: Mrs. Elsie Jenkins. Mrs. Elsie Marie Jenkins, 71, of Springfield, Virginia, died at 5 p. m. Sunday, at Hospice of Northern Virginia in Arlington, Virginia, after a lengthy illness. She served on the Girl Scout Council for 20 years in Indianapolis. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hardy and Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Sandra Berdux of Springfield, Virginia; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Moore of Emmetsburg, Iowa and Mrs. Ruth Sandberg (Didion) of Sioux City, IA (should be Yankton, SD); four brothers, Osbourn (should be Osborne), Charles, Gordon(should be Sandberg-Peterson) and Harold Sandberg all of Sioux City, IA ( should read Osborne is from Sioux City, IA, Gordon from Alcester, SD and Charles and Harold from Sioux Falls, SD) and two grandchildren.
