Albert Thomas "Doc" Kirk, son of John Kirk and Eugenia Crimm, was born on December 30, 1877 in Raleigh, Pickens County, Alabama. A "Horse and buggy doctor", Doc Kirk practiced medicine in the Kirk community of Pickens County, Alabama. In 1902, Doc Kirk had graduated from the University of Tennessee and he served internship in New Orleans during 1903. He retired from practice in 1959, in Pickens County, Alabama.

Continue North East on Old Vienna and pass Dave Wells Cutoff Rd. on the left, shortly after on the
left will be the entrance of Olive Cemetery.
