| Ancestry of Marjory PETTY Austen |
My PETTY line is through Joseph, b. 1765 in NJ? who married Elizabeth either MIDDAG or VANATTA, we are not sure which, and who came to Perry CO., OH in 1808. I have expanded the descendants lines to include all of his children, some of whom little is known about. Some data is tentative but you are told that in the info.notes. I am working hard on a connection w/ other Southern OH PETTY lines. I am especially interested in any identified PETTY photos you might have, whether or not we are connected. The physical resemblance is striking I am finding and I am approaching a less scientific method of comparing probably ancestors. Please respond if you have any identified PETTY photos or would like additional info. At this point, I am suspicious of a connection to the JOSEPH PETTY, b. 1713 or his son b. 1744, another Joseph as being possible connections to this Joseph of mine.
