Willis A. born abt. 1785 in Virginia died 1861 in Taney County married Nancy Lee (suppose to be full blood Cherokee we are trying to confirm) before 1814. They had 7 children James A. Ambrose Lee, Elizabeth, John Maynard, Matilda, William, and Mary Ann. John Maynard was the father of twin boys Willis and Lewis, and Frances Marion. Willis marries Martha Jane Hagler 9/30/1867 at Bar Creek in Taney County MO. they had 14 children Marion L., Luther M, Flora J., Ora E., Eliza, Percy E., Guy Fernando, and Lois (my grandmother) I'm getting the other names from my aunt. Guy was killed by Moro Indians in the Phillipines in 1903 there is more info on them if you want it. One of the boys rode with Teddy Roosevelts rough riders cheryl Green
