Notes 
Individual:
The 1850 Limestone County census shows Thomas Lynch to be 71 years old. It lists his birthplace as South Carolina. On the 1870 census for Lawrence County, Alabama for his son, Darius, states the birthplace of his(Darius') father as South Carolina. There is LDS listing for a Thomas Lynch being born 3/31/1779 in Pickens District, South Carolina His father must have died (possibly in the Revolution) when he was only 2 years old.
By 1782, Margaret had remarried and had one daughter, Rebecca, by Jesse Neville.
By 1809, Thomas had moved to Smith County, Tennessee where his son, Darius, was born. By 1830, he was in Limestone Co., Alabama. The last census listing for him is in 1850; consequently, he must have died between 1850 and 1860, inclusive.
