Anderson, Collins, Byrd, Jackson Family
This family file was created by alot of personal interviews with the living of our family. There may be mistakes, but I have tried to check out the information by census as much as possible. Please feel free to contact me to correct or add information if you can help.The Anderson family of Kingsport, TN married with the Collins of Wise County, VA.I'm not sure about the family of Linda Jane Collins. Her mother, Elizabeth is said to be Cherokee Indian, but this is speculation as of now. Any help would be appreciated.The Byrd line comes from two Byrd families, both from VA originally that migrated, married and lived in Hayes or Hays, NC.There is also a Brewster in our genealogy. I can't seem to find much about George Wesley Brewster of Hiawassee, GA. I need help to find the family of John Kimsey Jackson of the same area in GA. His mother was said to be "Black Dutch" or possibly Melungeon as are the Collins of Wise County, VA.Feel free to explore by not to exploit our family. Thanks, angie
