Notes 
Individual:
Samuel Jackson bought land in Labette Co., KS July 1, 1872. However
mortgages were recorded in 1871, 1873, 1874, and finally a warrantydeed to John J Brake in 1874. It is likely that Samuel returned toIndiana accompanying the widowed Syrena McIntosh and her chidren inthe summer of 1874.
