Alexandra Mary Hilda Cadoganwas styled as Marchioness of Blandford on 17 February 1920. From17 February 1920, her married name became Spencer-Churchill. Asa result of her marriage, Hon. Alexandra Mary Hilda Cadogan wasstyled as Duchess of Marlborough on 30 June 1934. She gained therank of Chief Commandant in the service of the AuxiliaryTerritorial Service.2 She was invested as a Commander, Order ofthe British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1953.3 She was invested as aCompanion, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John ofJerusalem (C.St.J.).3 She held the office of Justice of thePeace (J.P.) for Oxfordshire.3
