Notes
Individual:
m. Elizabeth N.BARONY OF SAINT JOHN (III)EDMUND (DE ST. JOHN), LORD ST. JOHN, son and heir, aged 4 inFebruary 1336/7, married Elizabeth ----; and died at Calais 18August 1347. His widow, who had writ for dower 15 October, married, 2ndly (without the King's licence), before 3 July 1354,as his 2nd wife, Gerard (DE LISLE), LORD LISLE of KingstonLisle, who died 9 June 1360. She married, 3rdly, Sir RichardPEMBRUGGE (who survived her), and died 14-16 September 1362.[Complete Peerage XI:327, (transcribed by Dave Utzinger)]Note: I don't agree with the birth date indicated above. 1332would put his death in Calais, presumably on a militaryexpedition (Siege of Calais was in 1347), at age 14, havingalready been married. He had to be much older than 14 at thetime of his death. The Edmund, aged 4 in 1336/7, could even behis son, if Edmund was born earlier than 1320.
