Obituary for Martin P. Maguire in Philadelphia Inquirer dated Wednesday

Martin P. Maguire
Martin P. Maguire, president of Brewery Drivers Local 830, Teamsters U nion (AFL), from 1943 to 1948, died Monday at his home, 2016 Robbins ave., after a long illness. He was 47.
Mr. Maguire, a former brewery employee, established his own refrigerate d trucking line when he resigned from the local presidency. He operated the business until illness forced his retirement in 1951.
Surviving are his wife, the former Marie A. Smith; seven daughters, Sis ter Marie Martin, SND, of Washington; Mrs. William Blakeslee, Mrs. Charles Murray and the Misses Margaret, Claire, Marianna and Muriel Maguire, and three grandsons.
Solemn Requiem Mass will be sung at 10 a.m. tomorrow in St. Timothy's C hurch, Levick and Hawthorne sts. Burial will be at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.
