Neal S. Southwick found papers which convinced him that Cassandra was
originally of the Burrell family. Fred Hammond clearly believes his
reading of Rebecca Potter's will proves she was Potter, "rebecca mentions
sister (Thomasine) Buffum, sister (Cassandra) Southwick and sister
Boyce". thomasine was the wife of Robert Buffum. their grandson,
Jonathan, married Sam and Provided's granddaughter, Mary Gaskill.
