OBITUARY: MICHAEL BARWICK
OTTUMWA--Michael Gene Barwick, 43, of 117 S. Van Buren Ave. died
at 10:24 a.m. June 7, 1998, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
He was born April 22, 1955, in Metropolis, Ill., to Eugene Harry
and Mary Louise Crumes Barwick. He married Christy Hale on April 2
1998.
A resident of Ottumwa most of his life, he was presently working
at Fisherman's Bay.
He is survived by his wife; two septsons, Wesley and Justin Hale
at home; a stepdaughter Megan Hale at home; three brothers, Charles
Barwick of Ottumwa, Gregory Barwick of Bemidji, Minn., and Jeff
Barwick of Clinton; and a sister, Judy Forney of Baldwin, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home, the
Rev. Tom Carpentar of Albia Road Baptist Church officiating. Burial
will be in Ottumwa Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. today with the family present
from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bill Rhodes, Ralph Coy, Mark Kelley and
Michael E. Barwick.
Memorials may be made to the family.
