JohnThompson and Judith (Herman) Thompson, married April 18, 1706, MagdalenBouchelle (from the Mallery papers--note 42). Richard Thompson died after1772. Lived to be over 105 years old. Judith Thompson, first dau--ofRichard and Magdalen (Bouchelle) Thompson, was born March 11, 1707. InRichard Bassett's notes from his mother's Bible, in possession of SenatorBayard, he states, Feb. 22, 1722, Arnold Bassett m--Judith Thompson. June28, 1780, Robert Thompson in his will gives to my nephew, RichardBassett, land after death of my wife. So Judith Thompson Bassett had abrother, Robert Thompson. Captain Jonathan Hodgson m--Francina Bassett inCecil Co., Md., in 1750. Captain Jonthan died in 1784 in Cecil Co., Md.See final settlement of his estate in 1798 naming his son Joseph. JosephHodgson married Sabra ............, who died on a trip to Ohio and wasburied at Agusta, Ky. Joseph was born in 1760, died in Butler Co., Ohio,in 1840. His second wife was Elizabeth Biram, whom he married in 1815 atOxford, Ohio. His dau--Elizabeth Campbell Hodgson m--George JanvierMeredith in 1825 at Oxford, Ohio. Their dau--Sabra Ann Meredith marriedWilliam Haldeman at Oxford, Ohio. William Haldeman had a son, GeorgeMeredith Haldeman, who married Catherine McBurney, parents of Mrs. JosephBaldridge of Bellevue, Pa.
