This started in order to give my son an idea of his roots. As my mother died in Feb 2007 this became very important to me to do so that I will understand where I come from as well. Most of the research is for the areas of KY and IL, but also includes various colonial states as well as England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany and France. The predominant names in our tree started as Whitehouse, Burns, Kelly, Johnson and Hoffmann but have grown to include many surnames.
