Text: Mrs. Mary Geraldine Duvall, 43, wife of Orville Duvall, died at King'sDaughters Hospital yesterday. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge BaptistChurch. Beside her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mary Susanand Patsy Duvall; three sons, Billy, Tommy and Orville Jr.; her parents,Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gaines of Franklin County; two sisters, Mrs. R. B.Pulliam of Cynthiana, and Mrs. Orville Moore of Franklin County; and fourbrothers, John, George, Horace and Harvey Gaines. Services will be heldat Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Monday with interment in the family lotin the church cemetery.

Family Notes on Marriage with Orville Ransford Duvall , Sr: Text: Submitted by: Susan Duvall Forster: Orville Ransford Duvall, Sr. andMary Geraldine Gaines years together were happy, prosperous ones. Theywere actively involved in community and church, they attended PleasentRidge Baptist Church, which Orville's grandmother and his Great uncleLot helped to organize in 1858. They survived the great depression, the1937 flood and World War II, acquiring a fertile 100 acre farm a fewmiles down river from Frankfort, Ky., a new car, and the means to startconstruction on a new home by 1947. That was the year Mary discoveredshe had cancer and died at 43 years of age. Orville later married AdaMoore O'nan, whom he divorced in 1964. At the time of his death in 1978,he owned a home in Frankfort, Ky.. He was well liked by everyone andfelt his richest blessings were a host of friends and a family that "gotalong" well with each other.
