According to her granddaughter, Sara Cooper Garman, Sarah likedto keep gifts and not use them. She bought her casket andgravestone several years before she died. She was a wonderfulcook. She passed on to her son, Morgan, a cook book which hadcome with a wood stove, two unbacked wool blankets, and two redand natural jacquard coverlets. Sarah rode horses until pastthe age of 90.
