Wiley served in the Confederate Army in the Civil War. Heenlisted September 11, 1862 at Jackson, Breathitt Co. KY. Hewas a private in Co. B and in Co. D in the 5th KentuckyInfantry. Wiley died while on duty in the war at NewmanHospital, Newman, GA. He is buried in an unmarked grave inNewman, GA.
Wiley never married.
