Philip Smith, first of Hadley, (Mass.,) then of Springfield, in the same
State, and afterwards of East-Hartford, (Conn.,) was twice married. 1. To
Mary Bliss, daughter of Samuel Bliss, of Springfield, July 9, 1687. She died
in Hartford, East-Hartford Society, December 23, 1707, in the 37th year of her age. 2. To M ary Robinson, sister of John Robinson, of Hartford, September 1708. In 1704, Mr. Smith made purchases of land in East-Hartford, and soon after removed thither.
Mr. Philip Smith died January 25, 1725, in the 61st year of his age.
Mrs. Mary Smith died May 17, 1733, in the 60th year of her age.
