She was born in Amherst County, Aug. 2, 1867."Mrs. Williams death was preceded in death by her husband,Thomas Albert Williams, and also by one daughter, Mrs. AlbertCaproni. Two sons were killed in action in World War I, RolandAlbert and Rayburn Edison Williams. She is survived by one son,L. H. Williams, of Clifton Forge, and two daughters, Mrs. HarryC. Deisher, Charleston, W. Va., and Mrs. Philip Schaffer, ofMontgomery, Ala. Seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildrenalso survive."Mrs. Williams was a member of Central Methodist Church, theLadies Bible Class, and a charter member of the American LegionAuxiliary."Services"The body will remain at the Nicely Funeral Home until time forthe service which will be held from the chapel Tuesday at 2 p.m.The Rev. A. Irvin Orndoff will conduct the service and theinterment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery."Active pallbearers will be C. G. Kennedy, J. W. S. Burks,Russell Smith, Fred Sherman, C. M. Brown, E. C. Westerman, J. EdHall, Calvin Staton, and Herbie King. [Samuel] Going andGabriella Skinner Going, was born August 2, 1867 in AmherstCounty, according to the research of Rozier Dedwylder, adescendant. She appeared as a 13-year-old in the household ofher mother in the 1880 census. Martha Ellen Going, "age 22, daughter of James and GabriellaGoing" was married November 26, 1890 to Thomas Albert Williams,age 23, by H. C. Cheatham, minister of the gospel, according tothe marriage records of Campbell County, Virginia. Martha EllenGoing stated for the record that her parents were James andGabriella
