RE: A request for information relating to a Mary or Maimie E.
Yeaton, born May 31, 1876 in Alfred or Springvale, ME
From: Margaret Scott Mera
I read with great interest your request and hope that we can
share information on the family of Nancy Goodrich and Joseph
Yeaton. According to the 1880 United States Census on-line at
www.familysearch.org, Mary E. Yeaton was one of six children
living in the household at the time of the Census.
They are listed as follows:
Joseph W., 18;
Weld H. 16;
Anna 13;
Argie, 11,
Mary E., 4; my paternal grandmother.
Bessie,2.
Head of household listed as "works in clothing factory" and Nancy
as "keeping house". The Census place listed as Sanford, York,
ME. I learned of Nancy's maiden name from a list that my
father compiled in 1936 for his sisters and brothers.
