HAS FIVE SONS IN UNCLE SAM'S SERVICE
We are proud -- more than proud to be able to present to our readers who are scattered throughout Mason and adjoining counties and the state, and athe present time THROGHOUT THE WORLD -- pictures of this most patriotic family who has at the present time five sons in service of Uncle Sam!
WE SALUTE MRS. LYDIA HISSONG AND HER FIVE SONS ALL IN THE SERVICE OF THEIR COUNRTY!
This most unusual family group where every son is in the service has lived in Scottville for the past ten years when Mrs. Lydia Hissong and her family moved from a farm near Crystal Valley to Scottville after the death of her husband.
Besides the mother and the five sons whose pictures are produced here there are four daughters in the family: Mrs. Wallace Falconer, Miss Anna Hissong who is attending college at Mt. Pleasant and Roberta and Eldonna at home.
This is probably the only family in this territory where five sons are in the armed forces.
