MRS. OLIVE FONE
The funeral of Mrs. Olive Fone, wife of John A. Fone, who died yesterday morning will be held from her home, 957 Princeton Avenue, Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Clifford P. Taylor.
She is survived by her husband, and three sons, James, Frank, and John A Fone Jr., a daughter Mrs. George Smith and a sister, Mrs Jesse Plant.
Mrs. Fone was a member of Home Communion Lodge No. 26. B. of A.. and Evening Star Lodge No. 7, Shepherds of Bethlehem.

MRS. OLIVE FONE
Funeral services for Mrs. Olive Fone, wife of John Fone, will be from her home 957 Princeton Avenue Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. On 29 Sept 1856, Richard Rowley, a potter aged 22 of Burslem, married Ellen
Lawton, spinster aged 21, also of Burslem. His father was Richard Rowley,
potter and hers was David Lawton, potter. The witnesses were Edward and
Sarah Rowley (don't know how exactly they fit in).
On 28 Dec 1862, William Brookes, an assistant (whatever that means!) aged 23
of Burslem, son of William Wilding, furniture dealer, married Amy Rowley,
19, of Burslem, daughter of Richard Rowley. Witnesses John and Harriet
Scarratt.
On 13 September 1869, James Lawton, a widower aged 30, a potter of Burslem,
son of David Lawton, married Hannah Tatler, 38, a widow of Burslem, the
daughter of Ephraim Hallam, potter. Witnesses Joseph and Mary Owen.
On 4 Aug 1879, Arthur Johnson, a warehouseman aged 24, of Hanley, son of
John Johnson, an engraver, married Harriet Rowley, 25, of Burslem, daughter
of Richard Rowley. Witnesses John Johnson and Mary Eliza Salt.
