Edward CONYNGHAM was born in Dublin Ireland c1806. Arr Sydney as a free settler on the Brig 'Ann' 8th July 1829. However the ship he originally left Ireland on 29 Jul 1828 was the Barque 'Letitia" which was wrecked off the Cap de Verde Islands in the Atlantic. His occupation given as 'wireworker'.He married Mary Anne MARSHALL on 11 Jan 1830 in Sydney NSW. A brother Patrick in Sydney earlier. Both their death certificates say parents unknown. Info sought re connection to any family tree in Ireland. Edward’s eldest son was named George which may also be the name of his father.
