Dear Apparent Cousin,
I found your family tree, which appears to duplicate mine with the
Reeds, Joel and backwards. I am a school librarian and am constantly
frustrated that I have so little time to spend on genealogy. I am also
only marginally computer literate, and have not had the time to learn
how to convert my files to GEDCOM and put them out on the web. I'm just
writing to establish a little communication so that you'll perhaps put
me in your address book and write if you have hugh successes with Reeds.
My maternal grandmother, Ada Jane Reed Wright, was the daughter of James
Buchanan Reed, who was the son of William Reed, the son of Joel. I have
not worked extensively on this line, and your additional work is
exciting for me to find. If you try to keep the more recent generations
I will share my files if you do not have them from someone else. Let me
know if you are interested and we will try to establish our links. By
the way, I am Sandra Kurtin. My mother is Marzelle Wright Bradshaw, and
her mom was Ada. I live near San Antonio. I would have more time for
my hobbies if my children were not in their child-bearing years; there's
always a baby quilt to be made or Christmas stocking to knit! I'm just
