This file contains genealogical information on descendants of Hans Petrus Lentz through his two sons, Johann Sebastian (aka Bastian)and Johann Theobald (aka Diebolt and/or Dewalt). The two sons were baptized in Postroff, Alsace, in 1735 and 1742, emigrated to America in 1753 and 1764. The major areas of research are the Lorraine village of Postroff; Berks County, Pennsylvania; Rowan County and other counties in North Carolina; northern Georgia; southern Illinois, especially Union, Pulaski, and Williamson Counties; and other localities all over the US where descendants are now living.
Contributions by descendants heretofore unknown to me are solicited.
