BIOGRAPHY: Much of the information surrounding William Webster Fields and
his ancestry or his descendants comes from paperwork I receieved by Sandra
Ward and my aunt, Janet Watters Fryer. This included information taken by
Lucy Kate McGhee from the Guion Miller application for W. W. Fields. A copy of
the Cherokee Nation Cherokee Roll #10214. And some copy work of James
Manford Carselowey, Adair, OK, January 1962. Emmet Starr's work is included
among these ancestry lines as well.

Further down on this census are "special inquiries relating to Indians"
for William W. Fields is states that the tribe of himself, father and mother is
Cherokee, it asks if this Indian has any white blood and if so, how much. It
states 7/8. "Is this Indian, if married, living in polygamy?" answer is "No" "Is this
Indian taxed?" answer is "Yes" "Is this Indian living in a fixed or in a movable
dwelling?" answer is "fixed"
For all of the children it lists Cherokee, Cherokee and White (for tribe of
themself, father and mother), then it only lists the white blood and the fixed part.
They all show 15/16 and fixed.
