Individual:
About 1855 Robert and Hannah came west. The trip from Ohio was made by canal boat and then b
y train to Dubuque, Iowa. The rest of their journey to Buchanan County was made by team. Sevilla's obituary says they settled on her Grandfather's farm 2 1/2 miles east of Independence, Iowa.
