REF. - The Warrington Monthly Meetings of Friends, York County,
Pa. states- "The Vores imigrated from Switzerland and they were
all Quakers." Peter Vore, son of Christian & Sarah (Thomas) Vore
served as a private and newscarrier during the Revolutionary
War. He is buried near Bedford, PA. Peter's wife Elizabeth,
along with her sons rode horseback to west of West Milton, Ohio;
Union Twp., Miami County. One of the sons, Abner Vore, returned
to Pennsylvania to settle the Hutton estate. Elizabeth (Hutton)
Vore is buried near West Milton, Ohio.
