Note found on an online database contributed by Jean Moncier :
. McCoy's were craftsmen, and were said to be able to build almost anything. Billy was a civic leader, ran a trading store, and founded the family church.
. George Washington McCoy's heirs obtained most of William "Squire Billy'' and Anna Moncier McCoy's estate.
