Individual:
Alma graduated from Hamlet High School and attended Meredith College,
Raleigh, NC. (She had to leave college to care for her mother. Herfather had recently died and all three brothers were in the militaryduring WWII.) Alma married James Mitchell Hall (Jim) of Lake Wales andMiami, Florida, on April 16, 1955.
Jim was born April 7, 1924, and died May 5, 1986; interment in Mary Love Cemetery, Hamlet, NC. There are no children.
Alma served as church organist for 16 years, Sunday School pianist, and Leader/Director of the Junior Training Union at First Baptist Church ofHamlet. She has been employed in the dental office of her brother, Dr.W. M. Pearce, since 1948, and lives at the homeplace in Hamlet.
