Bride a Graduate of Southern Presbyterian College -- Ceremony is Followed by an Elaborate Dinner - Many Presents Received by the Bride.

At the home of Mr. And Mrs. W.W. Gibson, residing two miles west of Red Springs, their daughter Miss Bettie Irena Gibson, was married to Rev J.W. Bradley Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The beautiful home of the family was filled with guests who had come from many neighboring towns to attend the wedding of this popular young couple.

The ceremony was performed in the tastily decorated parlor by Rev. Dr. J.N. Cole, P.E. of Rockingham, assisted by Rev. E. McWorter, of Maxton. The bride's sister, Miss Julia Gibson, was maid of honor, and Mr. C.T. Pate, of Purvis, acted as best man. The wedding party entered the room as Mendelssohn's wedding march was being rendered by Miss Mamie Gibson, of Gibson and stood before the ministers at the hymeneal altar, under an arch of evergreens, from which was suspended a white wedding bell.

"O Promise Me" was sung by Miss Bertie Atwell, of Red Springs, just before the ceremony. Those who were present said that they had never seen a more beautiful or impressive ceremony.

At one o'clock a dinner was served in the dining room, suitably decorated for the occasion. Shortly after the ceremony the bridal party left by private conveyance for Rowland, where they will make their home.

Mrs. Bradley is a young lady of refinement and culture, possessed of many accomplishments, and her sweetness of disposition and charm of manner have made for her friends throughout the State. She is a graduate of Southern Presbyterian College, and has been a most successful teacher. For two years she was a member of Marker's High school, where she gave the utmost satisfaction.

Many beautiful and valuable presents were received, which were n expression of the regard in which they are held.Bradley-Lentz, at Aberdeen.
