Plummer D. Pearce bill of sale to Archibal Pearce and Bennett Lenard for his interest in negroes that belonged to Rebecca Pearce which she got bythe will of Charles Allen, deceased, during her lifetime, Jan. 18, 1839.

Assumed to be burried in the family cemetery with his father, John Pearce, near "Pearce's Crossroads." Like many graves in that era, only aplain native stone marks a spot so the actual grave itself will remain amystery.
