Notes 
Individual:
Records indicate that he died in 1831 and that he was buried at Red Bud
but the existing chruch cemetery reveals no grave marker.

It is assumed that he was buried in the family cemetery near the present crossroad. However, only native stone markers, without inscription,remain and court records are too vague to make an actual determination ofhis final resting place.

Marriage:
John Pearce's marriage bond has is wife named Patricia Allen (crossed
out). All other records name her Rebecca.
