I am descended from George Ford who was born abt. 1775 in North Carolina or Va and died about 1845 in Benton County, AR. He had a son, Richard Ford who was born in N.C.abt. 1794 and died in Benton County in 1853, Richard married Isabella Logan. They had a son, John Henry aka Jackson Ford and he was born 1835 in Garfield, AR and he married Mary Elizabeth Lee born in 1845 and died in 1911 in Soderly, AR. They had a son who is my great grandfather, Joseph James Ford born in 1870 in Garfield and died in 1939 in Fort Smith, AR, he married Nancy Jane Heath who was born in VA in 1877 and died in 1966 in Fort Smith, AR. They had a daughter, Mabel Rae Ford who was born 4-24-1897 in Rogers, AR and died in Fort Smith, AR in 1972, she married Ralph L. Riggs born in 1897 in Kennett, MO and died in 1960 in Mr. Vernon, IL.
