Individual:
Married at the young age of 17, Minnie became a mother at age 18. For whatever reason, after the birth of her only son, James Arthur Castleman, she became mentally unbalanced. She attempted to bury her baby boy alive and had to be restrained by her husband and family. They were forced to place her in Terrell State Mental Institute, where she died at the young age of 19 years.
