Notes 
Individual:
The marriage record, found in the Benton Co., AR courthouse shows her age was 18 years and his age was 22 years on their wedding day. John Wolcott sent the children's names. The death date is not certain - could be 1939 instead. Bebe Hays Garcia has it as 27 Feb 1898.
Obits of Washington Co., AR Vol. 2: Mrs. S. Shaddox (from Benton Co.,) died recently at her home near LaRue of cancer. She leaves husband and six children. Interred in the Martin Cemetery, srvices conducted by G. C. Bland (The Springdale News 6/30/1899). Page 58 has the report of a shooting of the 8 year old son of Deputy Sol. Shadox by Alvis Wichon who was trying to shoot the Deputy but killed the son instead (Sept. 1894). (unknown connection - if any)
