Nancy Kay Faulconer was born in Hinton, WV and died in Fredericksburg, VA. On 4 June 1955 in Hinton, WV, she married James Roland Pettry, the son of Dewey and Icie Marie (Williams) Pettry. She graduated from West Virginia University with her Masters degree in Home Economics. Roland graduated from West Virginia Tech with an Electrical Engineering degree. Nancy and Roland moved to Virginia in 1961 and built their home in King George, VA. Roland worked for the Department of Defense in Dahlgren, VA, and Nancy worked as a schoolteacher in Colonial Beach and King George, VA. She is buried beside her parents in the Faulconer plot in Hilltop Cemetery in Hinton, WV. Their only child is Jamie Kay.
