Individual:
Eleanor Willis Wilson was born in Hinton, WV and died in Fairlea, WV. Her middle name "Willis" came from her grandfather, Lucian Willis Hill, who got his name from his grandfather, Willis Chambers. When she was a young girl, she decided she did not want to be called Eleanor and announced to her family that she wanted to be called "Tony" after a song that she had heard. She was then known as Tony the rest of her life. Tony married her high school sweetheart, John Edward Faulconer, the son of Edward Newman and Clyde Campbell (Flannagan) Faulconer, on 24 June 1932 in Beckley, WV. They had attended Hinton High School together. Tony and John had one daughter, Nancy Kay, who married James Roland Pettry. Nancy and Roland had one daughter, Jamie Kay. Tony is buried between her husband and her daughter, Nancy, who died suddenly in 1995, in the Faulconer plot at Hilltop Cemetery, Hinton, WV.
