Muse, Jesse B. 'Kip"
Kip age 86, passed away April 7,2000 at Grossmont Garden Health Care Center, La Mesa. Survived by his wife Willie Muse of 67 years, sons James, wife Dixie Muse, both of El Cajon, Calif., Jackie, wife Jennifer Muse of Brea, Calif. and Dan Muse of El Cajon, Calif., 21 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by son Philip Muse.
He was born in Webster County, Missouri on September 5,1913. One of two children born to Jesse H. and Maude O. Burnett Muse. He came to the East County of San Diego in 1937 and found work in the Citrus Grove area until being employed as an aeronautical worker and retiring in 1975 from Teledyne Ryan after 37 years. Jesse was popular Square Dance Caller from the 1940's to the early 1960's where he was affectionately known as "Kip". After his retirement he continued his interest in fishing, traveling and collecting and restoring of antiques. Jesse was an active member of the Bostonia Church of Christ until his health failed him. He will clearly be missed by his loving family and was an inspiration to all who knew him.
