Individual:
Cecil worked as a cook in the woods near Allagash, Maine as a young man. During World War II he moved to South Portland and worked in the shipyard. He moved to Unity, Maine in 1946 where he owned and operated a sawmill and finish woodworking mill with his brother, Roland, in Unity Village, doing carpentry and cabinet making for the families of the area. Roland moved to Florida and Cecil ran the business until 1957, when he moved back to South Portland and worked as a cabinet maker for many years. He later in lived Gorham, Maine and in St. Augustine, Florida. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Portland and South Portland, Maine for many years. He died of a heart attack at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine.
