Individual:
Rebecca grew up in Connors, New Brunswick, Canada.
She was naturalized on January 5, 1954 in Belfast, Waldo, Maine (No 7152774, Petition No. 281). Her Social Security Number was 004-30-1826.
Said to have been a kind lady and a hard worker, she kept her house in immaculate condition and would wash her floors on her hands and knees to make sure it was spotless. Her daughter, Loretta remembers her mother saying: "..mops are for lazy people..". Loretta also remembers her mother playing the organ while singing religious songs.
Rebecca's mother, Mathilde died when Rebecca was about five years old, at which time Rebecca went to live with her Aunt Becky (Rebecca Jane Morrison McBreairty) who ran a boarding house in Saint Francis.
According to Rebecca's obituary (Orlando, Florida - Sentinel, Sep 23, 1960), she had a sister named Mrs. Leah St. Pierre, who was still alive in Saint John, Maine.
