STATE OF GEORGIA---GREENE--
In the name of God, Amen.
Whereas I, Thomas Hightower being low in health but in my
proper senses and not knowing how long I may live do make this
my last Will and Testament.
Item--I give to my beloved wife Milly during her natural life
or widowhood nine negroes to wit; Sam Judah Winny Hannah Jerry
Aron Nancy Ned and Sally, together with the tract of land I now
live on stock household furniture debts and during her life or
widowhood to dispose of as to lending to the heirs that are now
single and after her death the said surviving heirs to have
said property equally divided among them Viz those that are
no(w) single--
Item I give to my son James Hightower one negro named Alec to
have and to hold the said negroe to his own proper use and
behoof to him and his heirs forever.
Item I give to my son Daniel Hightoer one negroe named George
to his proper use and behoof to his heirs and assigns forever--
Item I give to my Son in law John Bustin one negro named Isaac
to his own proper use and behoof to his heirs and assigns
forever--
Item I give to my son in law Thomas Hines one negro named Jenny
to his own proper use and behoof to him and his heirs forever.
Item I wish all my just debts to be paid and appoint my wife,
James Hightower, and Daniel Hightower, executors of my Estate.
