======================== P. 27 of Franklin County Kinfolks Plummer D. Pearce bill of sale to Archibal Pearce and Bennett Lenard for his interest in Negroes that belonged to Rebecca Pearce which she got by the will of Charles Allen, deceased, during her lifetime, Jan. 18, 1839.
======================== Assumed to be buried in the family cemetery with his father, John Pearce, near "Pearce's Crossroads." Like many graves in that era, only a plain native stone marks a spot so the actual grave itself will remain a mystery.
