Individual:
Mrs. Sallie Asbury, 94, died at 12 o'clock yesterday at the homeof her daughter, Mrs. Fred Whitmarsh, at Harrisburg. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at the Harrisburg Christian Church by the Rev. E.M. Hernon, of Centralia.
In addition to Mrs. Whitmarsh, Mrs. Asbury is survived by one son, T.J. asbury, also of Harrisburg. Her other son, Will Asbury, died about a year ago. She also leaves 16 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Asbury was born March 7, 1837, in Virginia and came to Missouri with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bailey, at the age of 11 years. She had made her home in Harrisburg since that time and was the oldest resident of that community. Her husband was William asbury. Mrs. Asbury was a member of the Christian church since early childhood. Buried in Harrisburg Cemetery, Harrisburg, MO
