In Sarah OWENS probate record, Nancy is not the one receiving the inheritance, it is Benjamin her husband. therefore I pursume that Nancy is deceased by October 15 1796. This would be her sister not mother.

Nancy was probably of age 16 and probably older as she is named in her mother's will of 1759, therefore born abt 1740. She could be older, but probably not much if any younger. She is also named as Nancy Owens not yet Downs, but she still may have be married. I find that after a parent dies the unmarried children tend to marry soon thereafter.
