[DOWNSOF DELAWARE2005GED.FBK.FBK.FBK.FBK]
I had information that John Dan and sister Sarah E. were twin but this is not the case per the 1850 Jennings County, Indiana census
From the Rochester Chronicle, Thursday, November 12, 1863. George Downs is mentioned as a premium winner at the sixth annual Fulton County Fair held in October. Also John Downs is mentioned. This could have been brother John Hall or son John Dan. FULTON COUNTY EXCERPTS 1858-1864 pp 122-123. As Lenard Downs is mentioned in the Newspaper a year later. I sirmise that George and sons Lenoard and John Dan Downs and possibly other family members came to Fulton County together earlier in 1863 and possibably before. These three were the only ones to make their notice in the newspapers or elsewhere that I have found.
