I'm excited about your information! I WOULD like to go back farther to the early 1700s, if you don't mind
sending me whatever information you have. I am highly interested! I had really reached a stumbling block
with George and Rebecca Downs. I have been in contact with someone at the library in Jennings
County, Indiana, but all I have turned up so far are birth and death dates. I also found some U.S. Census
info. from 1870 and 1880 at a genealogy library in Independence, Mo.
I'm also interested in the Conever, Convear, Cornwear, or Cornear line. That name has been passed
down for generations (as you can see from the line I'm sending you for George W. Downs) and we've all
been trying to find out where the heck it comes from!
How do you fit into the Downs line, and where are you from?
