Henry,
The Nancy I am looking for had a brother, John, who was a Methodist Minister in Ironton, OH. She and Henry were married 13 Jul 1856 in Lawrence Co. OH. They went to Franklin, St Marys Parrish, Louisiana. Henry died in 1866 from wounds received in battle of Irish Bend. Nancy and family returned to her family in Lawrence Co. OH. There children were:
America abt 1860
Allen b. 31 Oct 1862, who married Laura Jane Perkins in Scottown, OH.
Mary b 14 Oct 1865, who married Patrick Joseph Sheridan.
Henry (b. 1826) FOWLERs brothers and sisters, that I know of were: Wakeman,
LETHA, b 1817, William, John, Allen, and Sarah.
I included all of this in case you run across this information sometime.

Hello!
I got your email address off of Ancestry.com while looking for information on Mary Belle Perkins. I am actually related to Laura Jane Perkins, who is my great great grandmother. Laura and Mary Belle were sisters. My great grandmother is Hilda Marie Fowler, my grandmother is Margaret Newman Elton, and my mother is Joyce Elton Dyer. You probably don't know some of those names.
ANYWAY, I found a typed note by a "Dorothy Dillon Bradbury". Is she your relative? It says, "Line of Mary Belle Perkins Null. Written about 1944 by Grandmother Null (Mary Belle Perkins, youngest sister to Laura Jane Perkins Fowler) and was found in the back of a tintype picture of Great-great grandmother Veal Perkins. This note from Dorothy Dillon Bradbury." Are you familiar with this note??
I have a handful of pictures that my grandmother, Margaret Newman Elton, has given me and she being at the age of 84 can't remember the names that should be written on the back of them. Many are pictures of the Perkin cousins. There isn't anyone left in our family who can help me identify these pictures. Would you be able to? Do you have any family pictures of the Perkins, Veal, or Morris families? I have a few family histories and quite a few pictures I would be willing to send you copies of.
Well, I guess I shouldn't get ahead of myself. First I need to find out if any of this makes sense to you. (Smile) I look forward to hearing from you!

P.S. Do the names JOHN WILLIAM DILLON or NANCY DILLON mean anything to you? Nancy Dillon is the mother of Allen Fowler who was married to Laura Jane Perkins. Allen Fowler is my great great grandfather. Are you from this line also??
