Mary was a great paperhanger, and did this for many prominent people in the Coxsackie, NY area.
Mary and Howard took in boarders, who came from New York City area for vacations on the farm. Many came with children.
When she was a little girl she loved having her hair combed and brushed. Her hair reached her behind. (this was told to granddaughter Lydia Williams Desnoyers by Mary)
Mary lived in Ravena and West Coxsackie, NY during her married life.
