Notes: Jemima S. Buford's date of birth listed for the 1870 Census record matches the Ancestry.com Marriage record as 1811 for her birth year. There was a dramatic decline in Miles Buford's wealth (Real Estate & Personal Estate) between the 1850 & 1860 Census records. Was this possibly due to: (1) his transfer of assets to his older Children given his age of 80 yrs. or (2) the negative effects of the Civil War?
